Welcome to the 'QEII Track Club Inc.' website. The club caters for all aspects of 'Track and Field' athletics coaching, training and competition. The club trains at the 'Qld Sport and Athletics Centre' (QSAC), Kessels Road, Nathan, Brisbane (formerly known as the QEII stadium).  More information about us can be obtained by clicking on the Contact Us link to the left.  For all the latest news, information, media releases and newsletters please visit our News page on this web site.

Have you ever thought about joining a senior track club? Concerned that you might be too inexperienced or perhaps too young or that it's just all too serious? As you can see from the pictures below the athletes, coaches and supporters of the QEII Track Club are just like you, they like their athletics, they are tying to become a little better at their sport and they would like to train and compete with others who share the same passion you have for athletics. So if you are interested in making the move to a senior club then please call one of our committee or coaches listed on the Contact us page.

The QEII Track Club also hosts regular training clinics for young athletes who compete in Queensland Little Athletic Association (QLAA) Centres within the local area. These days (See News page for details of next clinic) are facilitated by club athletes who once were QLAA athletes themselves. A current QEII Club member and well known ex Little A Athlete Bronwyn Thompson commented at the last clinic,

“What the QEII Track Club clinics aim to do is provide these athletes with skills and coaching opportunities, but more importantly to develop a link to ensure these athletes can progress from their little athletics centre into senior athletics in the future”.

The Club also hosts regular open days where every one is invited to come and train and meet the Athletes, Coaches and Supporters of the club and of course enjoy the traditional sausage sizzle. So if you like Athletes and were wondering which club to join. Come along to one of our clinics or call at any time one of our committee or coaches listed on the Contact Us page.
